The Scottish Government has a clear message for people from around Europe who have chosen to live and work in Scotland – you are welcome here!
There are 127,000 nationals living and working in Scotland. Alasdair Allan, Minister for Europe, visited a Portuguese cafe, Casa Amiga and a Polish cafe, Yellow Bench in Edinburgh to tell them how valued their contribution is to Scotland’s culture and economy, and to hear any concerns they had about the EU referendum vote.
